This verse gets misread as a personal power-up, a spiritual turbo boost for your goals. Paul means something harder and more real. He's writing from prison, having suffered shipwreck, beating, poverty, and betrayal. He's saying I can endure all of it, I can remain faithful in plenty and in want, I can stand firm through hardship because Christ is my strength. Not because I'm strong. Because He is. The strength isn't yours to access. It's His to give.
